 Daughter
of Hélène Covatti and Robert Dussaut (1st Grand
Prize of Rome), brought up by Marguerite Long, Pierre Sancan in
France, and by the russian Vladimir Horbowski in Germany, Thérèse
Dussaut received her first Prizes and improved her art within
the Paris and Stuttgart Conservatory.
Winner of the First Grand Prize of Munich, soloist with important
orchestras and giving recitals arround the world, she was appreciated
for the special interpretation of the Charles Chaynes’s
Concerto, or the « Strophe, Antistrophe and Epode »
by Léon Mouravieff. As the Artistic Director, she founded
the Cévennes Festival (1987-1995), The Rameau International
Competition (1991) and The Summer University (1988-2000).
She recorded CDs, she’s been invited as a jury member in
many renowned international competitions (Thaikovsky, Munich,
Horowitz, etc.), she gives master classes in USA, Russia, Germany,
Ukraine and she is the director of the Piano Master Class in Toulouse.
