The "PRELUDIU" CHOIR - VOICU ENACHESCU - born in Branesti - Romania, started to study violin, performed in Radio Children Chorus, graduated from the Music Academy of Bucharest, becoming then assistant of conductor Ion Vanica at chorus CFR, second conductor of the University Choir (1965-1972), then created his own ensemble. He obtained a scholarship in Antibes - France (1974). In 1991 became director of the Cultural Centre "Tinerimea rom ana". He cooperated with choruses of Philharmonics in Bucharest, Iasi, Craiova etc., and while on tours he worked with groups in France or the Netherlands. Since 1998 he has been president of the national Chorus Association of Romania, and from 1999 he is a member of the board of directors of The Romanian Broadcasting Corporation. He was part of the jury in national competitions for choruses.
