Clementina Ristea Ciucu
Clementina Ristea Ciucu is a graduate of the National Music College ,,George Enescu” and of the National Music University from Bucharest, where she had Sandu Sandrin and Dan Grigore as masters. She also received guidance from some pianists and teachers of fame, like Valentin Gheorghiu, Viorica Rădoi, Flavia Moldovan, Sanda Bobescu, and Aurora Ienei. She continued her formation in Italy, as a recipient of a specialization scholarship at Instituto Musicale ,,Arnaldo Benvenuti “, with Bruno Mezzena(1992-1994), as well as participating in a master’s course with Lev Naumov.
Holder of many awards from both national and international contests, applauded at recitals and concerts on stages from the country or from foreign ones (France, Italy), Clementina Ristea Ciucu is a permanent guest in some events and artistic projects of scope: since 2008 she accompanies the master’s courses supported by Ioana Croitoru and Gabriel Croitoru in Bușteni, and from 2017-the master’s courses supported by Remus Azoitei and Irina Muresan in ,,EUROPAfest Summer Edition”, in Sinaia; she was an official accompanist pianist of the International Contests ,,Concertino Praga”(2018), ,,Jeunesses Musicales”(2012, 2015, 2018) and ,,Remember Enescu”(2013,2017,2019).In 2019 was distinguished with the Special Award for accompaniment ,,Adrian Tomescu”.
The rich interpretative experience found a natural extension in the teaching activity developed by Clementina Ristea Ciucu as a university lecturer doctor in the Faculty of Music Performance of the National University of Music in Bucharest.
