Welcome to the Enescu Competition! You have made a great choice for your career! Some of the remarkable cellists who participated in the George Enescu International Competition before you, and who have launched their international careers after the Competition, are: Tian Bonian (China), Valentin Răduțiu (Romania), Michal Korman (Israel), Eun-Sun Hong (South Korea), Marcel Johannes Kits (Estonia) and many more.
The winners of the Enescu Competition will receive financial prizes, masterclasses and will benefit of international publicity. Winning the first place at the Enescu 2022 Competition represents your direct ticket for performing on the stage of the George Enescu International Festival, in the 2023 edition.
What is important to know before completing the online application form?
- The online application submission deadline is April 15 2022. The jury will select the competitors based on the video recordings and the complete applications submitted online by the candidates. The selected contestants to enter in the 2022 Semifinal of the Enescu Competition will be announced on May 31.
- The repertory you will include in the Registration form is the final one and it cannot be modified after the application is submitted. Each candidate will individually determine the order of the works performed in each stage of the Competition.
