Professor Diana Moș, PhD, teaches Chamber Music at the National University of Music Bucharest. She graduated from the same institution, studying violin (under Professor Daniel Podlovschi). The theme of her PhD thesis, realized under the guidance of Professor Nicolae Brânduș and Professor Dinu Ciocan as scientific advisor, was reiterated in the book edited in 2008 – Introduction to the Hermeneutics of Musical Discourse.
The artistic activity of Diana Moș comprises numerous chamber and solo concerts, in Romania as well as abroad. She participated in international festivals, such as: George Enescu Festival in Bucharest, International Week of New Music, ISCM World Music Days Festival 1999, Warsaw Autumn, Rumänische Kulturtage Berlin, Culturescapes Rumänien Switzerland, Intersonanzen – Brandenburgisches Fest der neuen Musik Potsdam etc. She is a member of the Profil ensemble that performed numerous first auditions of Romanian and international contemporary works. She realized a representative series of CDs, radio and TV broadcasts and was actively involved in the Romanian musical scene, promoting Romanian repertoire.
She won in 2010 the George Enescu Scholarship offered by the Romanian Cultural Institute for an internship at Cité des Arts in Paris.
From 2016, she became rector of the National University of Music Bucharest.
