Daria Parkhomenko

Russian pianist Daria Parkhomenko is winner of the George Enescu International Piano Competition in Bukharest, 2018. Daria was born in Rostov on Don, Russia. She began to play piano when she was 4 years old. After study at the Special Music College by “Rachmaninov State Conservatoire” with prof. Sergei Osipenko she currently continues her studies with prof. Stepan Simonian at the High School of Music and Theater in Hamburg and also in Scuola di Musica di Fiesole in Italy with prof. Eliso Virsaladze.

Daria is laureate of many international piano competitions such as: Sendai Piano Competition in Japan (3 prize and audience award, 2019), Сlavicologne Piano Competition (2 prize, 2019), «In musica» Piano Competition in Rome, Italy (2 prize, 2018), «La Palma d’ Oro» Piano Competition in San Benedetto del Tronto, Italy (3 prize, 2018), Pietro Iadeluca Piano Competition in Carsoli, Italy (1 prize, 2017), Mendelssohn Competition with «Piano Trio HON» in Berlin, Germany (2 prize, 2017), Tallinn Competition in Estonia (3 prize, 2016), «Nuova Coppa Pianisti» Competition in Osimo, Italien (2 prize, 2016), Piano Competition «Hamburg composers» in Hamburg, Germany (1st prize, 2016), M.K. Čiurlionis Piano Competition in Vilnius, Lithuania (2nd prize, 2015), “Young Talents of Russia” in Moscow (1st prize, 2009), Blütner Piano Competition in Kaliningrad (3rd prize, 2007).

Daria performs recitals as solist and also concerts with orchestra in various halls of Russia, Europe, Taiwan, Japan, USA.  She played in Mariinskij Concert Hall (St. Petersburg, Russia), Hamburger Laeiszhalle and Sendesaal Bremen (Germany), Big Hall of Vilnius National Philarmonic (Lithuania), Romanian Athenaum (Romania) and others. Daria took part in International Festival «The faces of modern pianism» (St. Petersburg, Russia), Schleswig Holstein Festival and Mecklenbourg Vorpommern Festival (Germany).  As solist she played with numerous orchestras: Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra (Junichi Hirokami), Norddeutschen Philarmonic Rostock (Wojciech Rajski), National Symphony Orchestra of Romania (Vassily Sinajsky), London Chamber Orchestra (Ignat Solzhenitsyn), Lithuanian National Philharmonic (Modestas Barkauskas), Tallinn National Orchestra (Arvo Volmer), Kaunas Orchestra (Jung Park), Tainan Artists Orchestra (Ching-Ming Lu), Rome Tre Orchestra (Mikhail Kirchhoff).

Her concerts have been sounded by NDR and Deutschlandradio Kultur (Germany), LRT Klasika and Delfi (Lithuania), 2RStudio (Italy).

She participated in various master-classes with Alfred Brendel, Dmitrij Alexeev, Michel Beroff, Grigory Gruzman, Vladimir Ovchinikkov,  Anna Vinnitskaja, Lev Natochenny, Matthias Kirschnereit, Elisabeth Leonskaja, Hamish Milne, Balazs Szokolay, Pavel Nersessian, Severin von Eckardstein, Janina Fialkowska, Henry Sigfridsson.
