George Campbell

George Campbell, born in Warrington, England in 2002, is a pianist at the Royal College of Music, London. He is currently studying with Jianing Kong as a Hilda Houssart Award Holder supported by the Henry Wood Accommodation Trust.
George has performed with an orchestra the first movement of Mendelssohn’s Piano Concerto No. 1 and the Scherzo from Henry Litolff’s Concerto symphonique No. 4. Recently, he was awarded a Special Mention in the Abingdon Music Festival Concerto Competition in Oxford, England.
In 2018, George was part of a quintet playing Darius Milhaud’s La création du monde in a festival at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, England. The following year, he also performed in a piano trio in the Purcell Room, London.
