The music of Dan Dediu inspired me to compose a “world” in which the bodies (women, men, couples, groups) evolve in a scenographic space invented and realized, as well as the costumes, by Viorica Petrovici. A choreography crossed by the idea that each dancer represents a complex geometry of the body, inscribed in a kind of spatial mathematics (structures, shapes and/or symbols) materialized also through a series of accessories-metaphors. A play through which I propose to “bring to the stage”, in my own language, glimpses of an imaginary situated “right here”, somewhere between the Earth and the Sky, between the “mioritic picior de plai and gură de rai”. (Gigi Căciuleanu)
DinDor’NdoR (from longing to longing)
from longing to longing
dance between Earth and Sky
– square and circle – shadows leaving footprints in the wind
and when a dance
is all that's left is only longing
just longing just cold longing
waiting for another dance and more longing
to carry you high across the Earth from cloud to cloud with
young wizard steps
arrows of the stars or the moon we join together
and gather us together in long dances
across the striped earth
with crossings and crossings and crossings
nowhere
lived between the fire and the frost
moments of sunshine resounding
through the foam of mad dreams and bodies waves
from dance to dance from longing to longing
