CHINA

Zifan Ye was born in 2000 in Inner Mongolia. He studied piano with Xi You at the Attached Primary School to the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. Since 2017, he studied at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover with Gerrit Zitterbart. He studied also with Michel Béroff and starting from 2021, he continues his master studies in Hanover with Arie Vardi.

Ye won the Gundlach Musikpreis in Hannover as the only pianist in 2021; he won the 4th prize and best finalist of the 21st ITURBI Competition, and the 1st prize in the 23rd Pietro Argento Competition.

Zifan Ye performed at the Slovak Philharmonic, the Orchesterzentrum NRW in Dortmund, Teatre Principal de València, and Palau de la Música Barcelona. He is the ambassador, sponsored musician of BNP Paribas, Edifier and Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben.
