ALBANIA
Kostandin Tashko was born in Tirana, Albania, in 1997. After having graduated with the highest honors from the Conservatorio Tartini of Trieste under the guidance of prof. Teresa Trevisan, he is currently a student of the Royal College of Music in London and recipient of the Full Scholarship for Artist Diploma.
At the age of 23, Kostandin has been nominated for the Instrumentalist of the Year Award in Albania. In 2021 he has been awarded the 2nd Prize in the 37th Premio Venezia Competition. He also won prizes at the International Piano Competition of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Palma D’Oro Finale Ligure, Young Pianist of the North (Newcastle), EPTA Croatia.
Kostandin has been selected to attend prestigious masterclasses series such as Piano Academy Eppan, Internationale Musikakademie Liechtenstein, Accademia di Musica di Pinerolo, Ferrara International Piano Festival, with personalities such as Aquiles delle Vigne, Arie Vardi, Milana Chernyavska, Pavel Gililov, Benedetto Lupo, and Christopher Elton.
Kostandin has performed in 15 countries, at prestigious festivals such as: Mittelfest, Ljubljana Festival, Heidelberg Piano Festival, Amici della Musica di Padova and in concert halls such as the Albanian Opera House, Teatro La Fenice di Venezia, Teatro Verdi di Trieste, Sala dei Giganti Padova, Teatro Filarmonico di Verona, Fazioli Concert Hall in Sacile, Casa da Música Porto. He is author of two solo albums released by KNS Classical and Velut Luna.
