Kristina Besman 

RUSSIA

Kristina Besman was born in 1994 in Moscow. She studied at the Moscow Conservatory with Prof. Victor Pikayzen and Prof. Eduard Grach, and she completed her master’s degree at the same institution. She currently lives in Vienna and is studying with Prof. Igor Petrushevski.

She played recitals and concerts in most of the important halls in Moscow and Russia, her performance of Schnittke’s À Paganini at the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory being particularly notable.

Kristina is a winner of a violin competition in Kiev, a youth competition in Norway, and a violin competition in Yakutia. She was invited to the Youth Arts Festival in Paris, December Nights of Sviatoslav Richter Festival in Moscow, Festival européen Voix étouffées in Strasbourg. She toured in cities of Russia, Spain, Italy, France and Germany.
