Peng Lin

Peng Lin is the 1st prize winner of the 2012 Rhodes International Piano Competition. As the winner of the Juilliard Concerto Competition, she made her Lincoln Center debut in 2015 with the Juilliard Orchestra conducted by Peter Oundjian. She was also a laureate of the UK Piano Open International Competition, Rina Sala Gallo International Piano Competition, and the International Competition for Young Pianists Arthur Rubinstein in Memoriam. Peng Lin has performed on the stages of Carnegie Weill Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Muziekgebouw Eindhoven, and the Shanghai Concert Hall.

Born in Kulangsu, the “piano island” of China, Peng Lin made her orchestral debut with the Mozart Concerto K 467 at the age of 9. She received a full scholarship to attend the Juilliard School at the age of 16. She subsequently received her Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees from the Juilliard School, a Master of Musical Arts from Yale School of Music and an Artist Diploma from the Royal College of Music in London. Peng Lin has appeared at the Aspen Music Festival, Oxford Piano Festival, Sarasota Music Festival, and Taos Chamber Music Festival. She worked closely with Yoheved Kaplinsky, Hung-Kuan Chen, Peter Serkin, Dmitri Alexeev, Ian Jones, and Benedetto Lupo.
