Simina Croitoru

In the gallery of young violinists, Simina Croitoru holds an important, well-deserved and unanimously appreciated place. She started instrument studies at the age of five, with her mother, university professor Ioana Croitoru, and she continued working with Gabriel Croitoru, taking his class within the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree Program at the National Music University of Bucharest.

In 2020 she achived  a PhD diploma within candidate within the same higher education institution. Throughout the years, she has won numerous awards at national and international competitions and she performed in numerous concerts in the company of all the philharmonic orchestras in the country and she collaborated as soloist with many symphonic orchestras abroad (Austria, Germany, Finland, Mexico, China, etc.), as well as in numerous recitals in Romanian and foreign venues.

Her artistic performances conquer the public through expressive wealth, through their brilliance, self-assurance, and passion.

In parallel with her solo work, from 2016 she also has an didactic activity. She collaborated with important names in music, such as Valentin Gheorghiu, Mihai Ungureanu, Horia Mihail, the Transylvanian Quartet, Gabriel Croitoru, Liviu Prunaru or Marin Cazacu.
