Rules for press access

Important information:
• The deadline for accreditation is 15.08.2023.

• The rules of access to the spaces where the concerts and events of the Festival take place will be communicated for each individual event. Accreditation does not automatically ensure access to all these spaces, but a journalist who is not accredited will not have access to those places.

• Accreditation does not cover costs related to transport or accommodation.

• Journalists will be able to collect their accreditation from the press office at the Palace Hall, starting with a date to be announced later.

• During the Festival, numerous public events will take place, in addition to the performances and artistic activities. Journalists are invited to inform themselves about all the events in the press meetings that will be organized, from the press releases, on the website (www.festivalenescu.ro), as well as by contacting the Press Office, on the dates to be announced after opening it.
Other rules for the press:

1. PHOTOGRAPHY of the concerts is done strictly on the basis of the PRESS ACCREDITATION issued by the organizer and exclusively in the places specially intended for photography and filming, for a good performance of the artists’ activity: behind the concert halls, for a maximum of 3 minutes at the beginning and at the end of the concerts . Producers, cameramen, media partners and partners are not exempt from this rule.

2. VIDEO IMAGES – Romanian Television has the exclusive right to record the concerts within the Festival. The other television stations have the right to take images from TVR, which we will make available for free in a drive – or to film 3 minutes at the beginning of a concert, from certain places established by the organizers, based on accreditation and prior confirmation. At all other events organized within the Festival (conferences, launches, openings, cultural activities, etc.) all televisions have equal access.

3. The organizer makes available a wide selection of official images during the concerts of the event taken by official photographers. The selection of photos is available on a media server, which will be communicated to journalists upon accreditation.

4. The Enescu Festival and Contest logo will be used publicly without being altered or modified in any way.

5. The organizers reserve the right to withdraw credentials for non-compliance with the rules in the concert halls, as well as to introduce new rules in exceptional situations.

6. Events – The access of media representatives to the concert halls will be made exclusively on the basis of credentials and/or invitations. Considering the limited number of seats, the organizers reserve the right to determine that at some concerts only one reporter + one cameraman will participate, as well as the number of photographers/accredited to have access to the concert halls. Press accreditation allows journalists access to concert halls.

7. Interviews – To arrange interviews, journalists are asked to contact the Festival’s Press Office (at the Palatului Hall) or Artexim’s press officer at [email protected] in advance. The decision to grant interviews will depend on each artist’s schedule.
