Last-minute change in the Enescu Festival lineup: Hungarian violinist Kristóf Baráti and British violist Timothy Ridout will take the stage at the Romanian Athenaeum on Tuesday, September 19th, in a concert performed alongside the Camerata Salzburg, conducted by Gregory Ahss.

Initially announced with Dutch violinist Janine Jansen, the concert will feature the following program:

Kristóf Baráti is an internationally acclaimed violinist, described as having “a true tonal aesthetic of the highest level“. In recent years, he has performed at the Hollywood Bowl with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, at London’s Royal Festival Hall with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and in 2019, he opened the Verbier Festival, accompanied by the Verbier Festival Orchestra.
