Adrian Petrescu

Musician with an impressive national and international artistic career, Adrian Petrescu is principal oboist of „George Enescu” Philharmonic of Bucharest, guest conductor in seasons of symphonic orchestras from Romania and abroad.

Also, he is the founder and conductor of brass winds „Romanian Brass” Ensemble.

After graduation of studies and musical specializations with prestigious professors, has been winner of many competitions in Bucharest, Prague, Markneukirchen.

Since 1990 is principal oboist of „George Enescu” Philharmonic of Bucharest.

Has a constant presence as conductor and soloist of remarkable „George Enescu” International Festival of Bucharest with a repertoire which is constantly enriched and which contains reference musical scores from Pre-classic Music to Music of XXI Century.

Has been invited to Festivals from Cluj, Sibiu, Tg. Mures, Brasov, Satu-Mare, Iasi, Bacau, Botosani, Craiova, Rm.Valcea and also abroad, in Hanover, Schwerin, “Cimarosa di Fermo”, Charleroi, Norfolk – Norwich, Thessaloniki, Istanbul, Ankara.
