The London Philharmonic Orchestra performed alongside the Choir of the George Enescu Philharmonic and the Radio Children’s Choir. The soloist, in the role of Œdipe, was the French baritone Paul Gay, winner of a Grammy award. The live multimedia projections played on a giant screen with a total area of 60 square metres.
Presenting George Enescu’s Œdipe in an innovative form is part of the initiative of George Enescu International Festival to bring to the audience essential compositions by Enescu, performed at a high artistic level, integrating the most recent trends in the world.
