Enescu Festival unveils its new website, which allows quicker access to the programme and list of available tickets

Classical music lovers can now browse more easily through the programme on the George Enescu Festival website, so as to choose the events they want to attend or to see which tickets are available.

The new website of the George Enescu International Festival, www.festivalenescu.ro, is structured in such a way as to provide users with easy access to the essential information about the events during the Festival. The website enables real-time access to the programme and available tickets, making it easier to buy them: users can reach the sales interface with a single click. Users have essential information about the novelties of Enescu Festival 2017 at their fingertips – concert series or other events – as well as future ones, such as Enescu Competition 2018.

www.festivalenescu.ro maintains its direction, namely that of a content platform, including news, editorials and analyses, as well as live broadcasts, a high standard multimedia gallery, maps with the addresses of each concert hall, as well as a widget system that allows access to the relevant information on each page of the website. Visitors can subscribe to the newsletter in a dedicated field.

The new website wears the visual image of Enescu Festival 2017, and during the Festival (September 2-24), the main screen of the website will turn into a live broadcast screen for the concerts.

The website www.festivalenescu.ro is available in its Mobile version with all its facilities.

Some of the most important facilities of www.festivalenescu.ro are:

  • The possibility to view the events in the programme of Enescu Festival 2017 with an accessible display, as well as the status of tickets – available, sold out, free entrance – with the possibility to buy them: one-click access to the sales interface, in the  PROGRAMME section;
  • Widgets that direct visitors to relevant information on any page of the website and dedicated newsletter subscription
  • Video and photo gallery with live recordings and photos in the MEDIA section;
  • Direct access for journalists to a Press Kit or access through login on another browser, FTP with videos and high-resolution photos, uploaded in real time during the Festival.

The 2017 edition of the George Enescu International Festival (September 2-24) brings to Bucharest and in seven other cities in the country over 3,000 of the most appreciated foreign and Romanian artists, in over 80 events.

With a new first-class international directing team – Zubin Mehta, Honorary President and Vladimir Jurowski, Artistic Director, in 2017, the Festival will put the music and creation of George Enescu in a new light, as well as classical and contemporary music in general. As part of this endeavour, the Festival will put technology to the service of classical music and creativity, presenting famous works in a new approach; it will put contemporary music first, inviting for the first time some of the most renowned composers today; it will give the audience the chance to enjoy a record number of works by George Enescu (37) – two of which will be presented at the Festival for the first time in history – and it will tune mathematics to the sound of music, inside Creative Bucharest.
