Li Chentao

Born in Dongguan, 16 years old, Li Chentao was inspired by his father to learn piano at the age of four and a half. Since the age of 8, he has been studying piano with Professor Xian Jinsong of the Xinghai Conservatory of Music. Also, he studied piano with teacher Zhou Xia and professor Li Song. In 2017, he was admitted to the piano major of the Xinghai Conservatory of Music with the highest ranking. Under the careful guidance of Teacher Xian Jinsong, he was successfully selected as a candidate for the “Training Program for Excellent Musicians”of the Xinghai Conservatory of Music.

He has always been actively participating in various influential piano competitions and masterclasses and has won many awards, including: 1st prize in the children group in the 5th national finals of Cadenza Cup National Youth Piano Competition; 1st prize in the national final of Shenzhen Open Piano Competition in July 2017; 1st prize in the professional youth group of the national finals of the 1st Changsha International Piano Open Competition; 1st prize in the national final of Huanglong Music Season International Piano Art Week in 2017; 1st prize in the national final of the 6th Golden Sunflower National Youth Piano Competition in 2018; 1st prize in the national final of the 3rd Yanzi Cup National Youth Piano Competition.

At the age of 13, he gave a solo piano recital in the Shanghai Poly Grand Theatre and held a series of events named Talking to ‘Tao’— Li Chentao Salon Concert in many places across the country.

When he was 14 years old, he successfully held solo recitals in Guangzhou Steinway Hall, Dongguan Yulan Grand Theatre, Guilin, Nanning, Beihai, Changsha, etc.
