“Playing B-OSA” or how art can transform a city

5 – 30 September

Galateca Contemporary Arts and Design Gallery

In the period 5-30 September, the Galateca gallery hosts the “Playing B-OSA” exhibition, dedicated to Romanian urban art.

B-OSA means Bucharest Open Street Art and it is the largest urban art festival in Romania, taking place in May, June, July 2018 in Bucharest. The urban arts promoted by the B-OSA Festival include: graffiti, street painting, mural painting, public space installations, urban architecture and technological trends in the urban areas. During the 3 months, the works of Romanian and foreign artists will be exhibited along the Bucharest City Tour and near the Băneasa Shopping Complex.

The “Playing B-OSA” exhibition includes a few previews of the creations that will be shown at the B-OSA Urban Art Festival. A snapshot from the long journey of conception which the participating Romanian artists have to make until next year.

The vernissage is scheduled for 5 September, at 19 hours, at the Galateca gallery, where the public can join the artists and architects Pisica PătratăMihai ZgondoiuDorina HorătăuȘtefan CrețuIIOANAKitrăSergiu ChihaiaOctavian NeculaiAna Maria Crișan and Tudor Cucu.

And because our love for urban art is public, with the occasion of this vernissage we will present another project “Powered by B-OSA”, a very dear one to us, entitled “Arta la intrare/Art at the entrance”, coordinated by the artist Anca Boeriu and initiated by Neo Art Association and Galateca Gallery.
