Radu Croitoru

REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA

Radu Croitoru was born on September 9, 1990 in Chișinău. He graduated the Ciprian Porumbescu High School of Music in Chișinău in the cello class of Bella Savici and the National University of Music in Bucharest, in the class of Marin Cazacu. He is currently studying cultural management at the University of the Arts in Iași, Romania. Radu is a laureate of the Romanian competitions George Georgescu, Mihail Jora, Paul Constantinescu, Alexandru Moroșanu, The Path to Celebrity in Bucharest.

He held solo and chamber music concerts at the National University of Music in Bucharest, George Enescu Museum in Bucharest, Romanian Athenaeum, Hungarian Cultural Institute in Bucharest and Budapest, Chișinău Organ Hall, Serghei Lunchevici National Philharmonic in Chișinău, Kyiv Philharmonic, Brașov and Bacău Philharmonics. Currently a member of the Brașov Philharmonic (Romania) and the founder of the media project VlogONcello. Attended masterclasses held by Frans Helmerson, Judith Ermert, Mirel Iancovici and Bjørg Lewis.
