17 young violonists from South Korea, Germany, Japan, Italy, China, Romania, UK, New Zealand, Ukraine, Croatia, Turkey and the Republic of Moldova follow their dreams of becoming great musicians in the Enescu Competition 2018. They perform recitals on the 12th and 13th of September on the stage of the Romanian Athenaeum in the Second Round of the Enescu Competition – the Violin Section.
Except for Round I, all rounds of the Competition are being broadcasted live on www.festivalenescu.ro, as well as internationally, on the Violin Channel website.

At the end of the Second Round, the jury will select the young violinists who will enter the Semifinal and will be closer to winning the Enescu 2018 Competition.
