Christian Sebastianutto

Christian Sebastianutto was born into a family of musicians in 1993 in Udine and began studying the violin at the age of 4. He graduated from the Jacopo Tomadini Conservatory of Udine with honors and a special mention. Subsequently he specialised at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome with Sonig Tchakerian, and at the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne in the class of Pavel Vernikov, obtaining a master’s degree. He is currently studying with Silvia Marcovici at the Music University Graz. He has attended masterclasses with Ivry Gitlis, Giovanni Guglielmo, Sergej Krylov, Zakhar Bron, Mihaela Martin, Gerhard Schulz, and Donald Weilerstein.

In 2014 Christian won 3rd prize at the 31st National Violin Competition City of Vittorio Veneto and in 2016 he won the 3rd prize at the Andrea Postacchini International Violin Competition in Fermo. He gave concerts as a soloist and chamber musician throughout Italy and in Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, France, Sweden, Albania, Hungary, Turkey, and Chile. He performed numerous times in the Vatican City, including in a concert for Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI recorded by the Vatican Radio in 2015. He collaborated as concertmaster with the Padua and Veneto Orchestra and as Assistant concertmaster with the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Orchestra. He has performed as a soloist with the Orchestra of Padua and Veneto, Donetsk Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra of the Arrigoni Strings Academy, New Assonances Orchestra, Orchestra of the Naonis Academy of Pordenone, Ferruccio Busoni Orchestra of Trieste, Interpreti Veneziani, Orchestra of the Andrés Bello University of Santiago de Chile, MÁV Symphony Orchestra of Budapest, FVG Orchestra. He has recorded for Amadeus Rainbow, Achord Pictures Budapest, and for RAI di Trieste.
