It will be a jubilee event and the longest in the Festival’s history, as it will celebrate 140 years since George Enescu’s birth and the 25th edition of the Festival. Information about the Program can be viewed here and about tickets – here. Changes may still be made to the Program, on account of the pandemic.

Subscriptions Ballot

Due to the large volume of requests for subscriptions recorded at previous editions of the Festival, as well as the exceptional situation caused by the pandemic, Artexim, the organizer of George Enescu International Festival, together with Eventim.ro, the Festival’s official ticketing partner, will organize a ballot to allocate the opportunity to purchase subscriptions randomly. This way, people interested will have equal chances to buy Festival subscriptions.

Lovers of classical music who wish to purchase subscriptions need to register for the ballot via this form. Registration for the subscriptions ballot is possible from June 9 to 28, exclusively online, on the website eventim.ro. The ballot draw will take place on Thursday, July 1, at 12:00 PM EEST, at the Romanian Athenaeum, and will be broadcast live on festivalenescu.ro and eventim.ro.

The drawing is done electronically, using the random.org website, with no possibility for human interference with the algorithm that selects the winners. The ballot system will ensure equal chances for all those who wish to purchase subscriptions for the Festival. This procedure is standard for several international classical music events.
